Lentor Mansion Preview Starts on 1st March

I mentioned that when you set up Plex on your Synology NAS, you can set up the TV serials to pull in the data in the right language.

Earlier, when I first set up, I just took the defaults (going quickly through the set up without drilling down) and this was how my TV serials from Hong Kong looked like. Notice how the titles of each serials are in ENGLISH:

The Synopsis of the TV serial is also in English

This is quite very well done by a fan in theTVDB.com (which is where Plex pulled the TV serial information into the database). He made a very good effort (and very very outstanding data) in maintenance of the TV serials. Brilliant. I believe, unless you are as OCD as me, you can stick to his version of the TV serial. This is his version (ENGLISH VERSION):

Yours truly also helped to maintain Hong Kong TV serials in the same web site but I used the “Chinese” version (for each TV serial in http://www.thetvdb.com, you can have many different language versions):

So how do you ensure that Plex TV Serials are imported in the language you desired ?

By default, the Agent used ENGLISH and you can easily miss this as it is in the Advanced Settings:

Make sure you choose the ADVANCED SETTINGS and then choose the language you want:

Then you will get everything in the language you desired. My case, it is in Chinese:

The OCD in me 🙂
